Project Description
This project modernized Seattle Public Schools' landmark three-story school and its adjacent portable classrooms to accommodate the program needs of Roxhill Elementary which moved into the building. Folding in modern technology and building practices, LCi constructed and retrofitted the existing school with upgraded technology, energy efficient building systems, and programming for enhanced safety. This included the re-configuration of the school's entrance and administrative spaces to provide a secure entry into the school. Structural improvements included seismic upgrades throughout the building.
