Wilkeson Elementary School Renovation & Addition

Wilkeson, WA

Project Description

LCi constructed an addition to and renovation of Wilkeson Elementary that was designed by Integrus. The 19,000 sf addition features classrooms and a new gymnasium that was installed with 225 aggregate piers and a grade beam system, constructed of steel and wood framing. The existing historic school building was completely renovated, including all new MEP systems. During construction, LCi discovered that the existing sewer system had extensive damage from age and tree root entanglement. We documented the condition by running a camera line through the sewer line and worked with the design team and subcontractor to replace the damaged sewer line.

The existing sewer system had extensive damage due to age and root entanglement. Lincoln was able to run a camera through the line to document the poor existing condition and partnered with design team and subcontractor to come up with a solution to replace the existing sewer line that ran through the middle of a city street.
